On, Tuesdays are #TutorialTuesday on the blog. I will teach you one new thing that is useful, educational or inspiring. On today’s edition of Tutorial Tuesday, I am teaching you how to make your very own Ankara clothing line.

What you will need

  • A laptop
  • A red bubble account
  • A account OR Your own royalty-free digital Ankara pattern

Creating your own Ankara clothing line is really simple, because you there are many websites where you can customize and sell all kinds of clothing and merchandise. Some of these websites include:

  • Red Bubble
  • Amazon merch
  • Teespring

With your own royalty free digital ankara pattern, you can easily design clothing, bags, and all sorts of custom merchandise with this trendy look and feel.

Step 1. Save the royalty free digital Ankara pattern onto your computer.

  • It’s pretty important that you have your own custom royalty free design. Right now, I don’t think there are many copyright laws when it comes to Ankara, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be some in the future.
  • Also, having a strictly digital version (versus having something you took a picture of from a piece of clothing) allows for a cleaner look.
  • If you don’t know how to create one yourself, and don’t know where else to get one, check out my gig on Fiverr where I can make a unique and custom royalty-free Ankara design pattern that you can use for your clothing and merchandise

Step 2. Upload your design pattern to a website like Red Bubble allows you to make custom clothing and merchandise of many kinds including:

  • t-shirts
  • hoodies
  • mini skirts
  • pillow cases, etc.

There are dozens of ways to translate your design patterns into merchandise, and the best part is, it’s absolutely FREE to sign up.

Step 3. Once you create an Ankara product, save it to your store and make another. Before you know it, you will have an entire clothing line!
